Apollo 11 VR is a simulation of the most challenging journey ever taken by mankind. You can experience these historic events through the eyes of those who lived through it. Using a mix of original archive audio and video together with accurate recreations of the spacecraft and locations, all set to inspirational music.

Apollo 11 VR is a first-person experience of the interior of the 1969 Command Module. Explore the cockpit firsthand in an authentic model of the interior based on scans from the Smithsonian. Get set for an experience that will not only educate you but will also leave a lasting impression.

The experience is a fully interactive VR documentary that not only let’s you get to relive the events of 1969, but you can also take control and fly the command module, land the lunar lander, explore the Moon’s surface and deploy the lunar experiments all before returning to earth in a fiery re-entry.

While the original Apollo 11 VR experience was released in 2016, an HD remake came in 2018. It features many new assets, like higher res textures, new animations, new lighting, revamped audio and Windows MR support.
